Katherine Knight was born on Texas Independence Day in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an insurance defense litigator who represents companies and individuals sued for damages in state and federal courts. She has 34 years' experience in jury trials in state and federal courts, and at the appellate level in both federal and state courts.
Representative Experience
Katherine has represented insurance companies, household goods motor carriers, freight transportation companies, transportation brokers, railroads, municipalities, homeowers and community owners associations, rental car companies, apartment complexes and other corporate entities. Katherine has represented clients in matters involving personal injury, property damage, contract damages, Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act allegations, injunctive relief, and declaratory judgments. She has experience in vehicle accidents, commercial and contractual disputes, insurance coverage, municipal law, and professional liabiity claims. We use the most effective strategies to favorably resolve each case. Over the years, Katherine has tried a number of cases and negotiated many settlements. Katherine worked as a trial attorney for the City of Dallas from 1983 until 1993. She worked as in-house claims attorney representing professional liability insurers.
