Preston is an associate attorney with experience representing clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including small business formation, commercial disputes, insurance defense, personal injury, products liability, and construction cases. Preston grew up in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, and attended Southern Methodist University as an undergraduate and law student. While at SMU, he clerked for the General Counsel during the planning and construction phase of the George W. Bush Presidential Center and was selected to participate in the highly competitive Corporate Counsel Externship Program. Since graduating from the SMU Dedman School of Law, Preston has represented numerous clients from the pre-litigation phase through trial, and has advised small businesses on issues of formation, vendor relationships, product development, and employment matters.
